EDRINE MUKASA (Secretary)
Edrine Mukasa originates from Uganda but moved to South Africa at a very tender age and has since been living there. He grew up in the South Coast, which is in the KwaZulu-Natal Province and spent his whole schooling life there until he went to university. Through-out his school life he was very involved in sports, being soccer, basketball, and athletics but of the three, his athletics career stood out the most. He represented KwaZulu-Natal from grade 9 to grade 12 and even competed at the national level (South African Champions) in 2010 and came 2nd in 800m.
After matriculating, he went to university and studied Bachelor of Law at Nelson Mandela University in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape Province. Upon completing his degree, he volunteered at the Langa Advice office in Langa with Joy Macnab for a period of six months, whereafter he attended Law School in Cape Town, Western Cape Province. Edrine commenced his articles of clerkship as a candidate attorney at Chennells Albertyn attorneys law firm in Rondebosch, Cape Town in 2020 and he is now a junior attorney after being admitted as such in April 2021, and currently practicing at Chennells Albertyn. His most important goal and aspiration in life is to establish himself as a fine attorney capable of expanding his knowledge and expertise in various fields of the profession so as to grow and nurture those around him, while also striving to give back to the community. His biggest achievement to date is beating all odds to be the person he is today and to bring pride to those around him. |
